On Mauritius the wedding process is divided into 2 parts. After your civil wedding (standard wedding) you may have a religious wedding in an Anglican church.

We have selected 2 beautiful and well maintained churches in the north and in the center of the island to maximise the convenience for our guests. Both churches are quietly situated, offer plenty of parking and are well suited for small or large groups of guests.

The requirements of the church are:

• Birth certificate (2 copies).
• Certificate of confirmation (baptism) from your local priest in your home country (2 copies).
• Certificate from your home town hall that you are not already married.
• Copy of the wedding certificate (civil wedding) performed before the Anglican ceremony. Your civil wedding may be performed on Mauritius or in your home country before departure.
• Weddings between divorced people are unfortunately not possible.
• All the documents should be sent to us at least 4 weeks before you arrive on Mauritius together with the documents for the civil wedding.
• The Mauritian church authorities place much emphasis on the religious and spiritual meaning behind a church wedding. One or two meetings with the priest before the wedding ceremony are therefore absolutely necessary.

• Pick up at the hotel or bungalow and transfer in a private car to the church for the meeting with the priest before the ceremony.

• Professional photographer with 36 photos in an album and a CD Rom or negatives.
• Bridal bouquet and button hole for the bride and the groom.
