Dolphins are extremely social animals and communicate through
squeaks, grunts, moans and trilling sounds. They also send
messages through body language by leaping, breaching (leaping
out of the water and landing on their side) and smacking their
tails against the water.
Dolphins have universal appeal, symbolizing freedom, joy, grace
and serenity, uplifting the spirits of many people all around the
world. They feed offshore during the night and return close to
shore each morning to rest and nurture their young.
