The Mourouk Ebony Hotel faces the vast lagoon, streaked with various shades of blue and turquoise contrasting with the deeper blue of the near-by winding and desert islets. The hotel rests on a hilly landscape flanked with isolated sandy beaches which is reminiscent of the African Savanna.

The food is served on a vast terrace which overlooks the pool and the lagoon. The cuisine, exotic and refined, offers a variety of Creole menus along with some European dishes. The fresh vegetables are from the local gardens while the seafood is from the lagoon.

The hotel offers a conference room and some boutiques. It also provides facilities for car hire, laundry and baby-sitting. Evening entertainment featuring the "Sega Tambour" (African music and traditional dance) are regularly organised.
